Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been won on hard courts
A resurgent Daniil Medvedev claimed his maiden trophy for 882 days with a win over opponent Moutet in the tournament final.
The athlete, a ex- world number one, has had a difficult period, managing just one match at the major tournaments and undergoing a setback at the US Open.
The player's unpredictability on the professional circuit - and issues with his serve in particular - resulted in him exiting of the top ten and ultimately separating with former coach Cervara.
Currently collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently progressed in the last few weeks - peaking in a tightly fought competitive triumph over opponent Moutet.
This represents the player's initial trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard surface since March of the previous year.
The win also indicates Medvedev has won 21 titles at 21 various events.
"For the first time I have attended a event with my both daughters simultaneously, so to win a trophy is especially meaningful," stated ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in tribute of my child my daughter, because the first title I achieved when my child my daughter was born was for her."
The athlete, the former major winner, had failed in his last six title deciders, including in that event in the past months.
His retrieving play style and regular outbursts on the playing surface had led some to question if his ability to play at the top level was concluded.
But the player has altered his approach in the last few weeks, striving to approach the net and play positively, backed up by an improved serve.
Medvedev fought back from a disadvantage in the initial set against the tricky Moutet, taking four of the final five exchanges to gain the advantage.
Both players traded breaks in the second set before Moutet, striving for his maiden professional victory, seized the initiative to create a third set.
The opponent saved 4 initial chances in a competitive final set before the Russian broke to 15 to secure the win.
Fittingly, the winner clinched the win with a shot at the net area, with his opponent unable to handle a shot after over two and a half hours.
